i think it relates because it seems to me that some of you (or at least
those of you who posted some hateful posts to me) think it is uncool for an
aj band to be associated with a major because majors are associated with
"mainstream", "commercialized" music. it seems that those same people i'm
talking about think it would be uncool if the artists whose music we love
ended up on the top 200 chart.
we all want to think that we, ourselves, had such great sense to discern
the talent of our favorite musicians before anyone else, but it is not a
bad thing if other people are catching on and these talented musicians
begin to make some profit off their music.
