First things first; as you may know I'm the new admin for

Got D-Influence's "Pray 4 Unity" today. Smashing! It's
absolutely brilliant, full of power and that good vibe
we know from "Good 4 we". It's not as good as the previous
album, but still solid and a safe investment. The album of the summer?
Short note on Incognito's "100 degrees and rising". It's not what I
would have expected, and I miss Maysa Leak a bit. Though, it's nice
to hear Bluey play a lot more and it is a pretty good album. I just
wish I could see the live someday, but what are the odds for Incognito
coming to Sweden...? :-(
Is it just me that finds "Jazzmatazz 2" to be boring? I mean, all
those big names and musicians, and still... well, I don't mind Guru,
or Rap, but to me this sounds quite stiff and not very fresh.
It's basically Guru all over the place and I don't think that's
the way to go. IMHO of course.
A bit off the mainstream acid jazz - Red Snapper on WARP. Perhapes
this is more on the Intelligent Dance Music (or whatever they call
it?) side, but it reminds me of Mo'Wax and Wagon Crist, so why
not check it out. The hard beats and funky sound should interest
the members of this list?
