Just wanted to say goodbye to all you guys who I almost feel like I know
personally... I leave for my Europe trip on Monday, so I won't have time
to read the acid-jazz list until I come back.
If anyone wants to mail me personally, that should be OK, as long as
those Cybercafes aren't too expensive!
About the Phoenix festival and European meet-ups: For Phoenix we'll just
post a message on that message board/tent thing that Steve posted about.
Look for messages for "the Acid Jazz List", who cares if noone else
knows what we're talking about :-)
And it doesn't look like a big meet up will happen in Europe; everyone
is doing different stuff. But that doesn't means that lots of smaller
meetings can't happen; get in touch with people individually and
organise something!
Here's the details for a few people who I hope won't mind being
listed here:
Greg B gregbb@uhunix.uhcc.hawaii.edu Brussels 21 Aug - 1 Sep
then France, Spain, Italy in Sep
Germany, Denmark in Oct (rough)
Dan Lav danjlav@midway.uchicago.edu Paris from 1 Sep
Jon jtakagi@wopr.gsm.uci.edu Barcelona from late August
Dino de_prenc@postoffice.utas.edu.au All over the place (incl Phoenix)
Me svlad@yoyo.cc.monash.edu.au Phoenix, UK, Ire July/Aug
Germany, Switz, Aust, Italy Sep/Oct
France, Spain, Morocco Nov/Dec
UK, ??? Jan/Feb
Okay, so if anyone can work around that (or add to it), please do so!
So those above, I'll see you soon, but everyone else, see you next year!
Have a good one,
Brendan.
(ObQuickAJ: Undertones vol. 3 is out on One Movement records here in Oz.
Haven't heard it yet, but if they continue the way they have been ,
it'll be HUGE)
