I saw these guys play last Saturday night at the Ajax in San Jose and they
were a marvel to behold, although my take on the audience was they were not
as impressed (of course the fact that I scored the sofa on the wall may have
improved my demeanor and receptiveness to their unique sound).
I would describe them as heavy groove-laden jazz with one serious ass-kickin'
organ player who just fucking goes to town - sorry if my description is too
high-brow.
