Zakir Hussain also put out a really good album on ECM entitled "Making Music"
that is not as experimental as Shakti stuff but very good. Zakir is still
doing stuff under "The Zakir Hussain Experience" on his own label (whose name I
don't remember). I saw him a couple of years ago play with Pharoah Sanders
(!!), a really good show, worth an entire year's worth of spirituality.
