There is actually an one hour film being shot by Grant Green Jr. and his
wife, Sharony on Grant Sr. There is interviews with Lou Donaldson, Melvin
Sparks and a few other players that he hung with (mostly in Detroit night
spots) along with a band from Toronto (One Step Beyond) doing a cover of
Grant Green's "Jan Jan" live! The film is supposed to show in the Jazzfests
throughout N. America.
My favorite albums are "Grant Green Live","Shades Of Green", and "Final
Comedown" all on Bluenote.
