A quick question regarding the Brooklyn Funk Essentials....what are they
like/comparable to/ (in) famous for? This may seem like an ignorant
question, becuase I recall back in the fall that some discussion took place
re: the B.F.E..however I don't recall anything about the group. They are
coming to T.O the 16th of August (by the way, it has been a great month in
t.o for music--Martin Medeski and Wood, the Pharcyde, Omar, the Last Poets,
KRS-1..) and I'd like to get an idea of what they're about before I spend
approx. $20 to see them.......Thanks for the Insight, in advance.
