There are several versions of Gang Starr's "Jazz Thing". The UK 12-inch
single had the best mixes. I can look them up if anyone is interested. I
vaguely recall a US promo-only vinyl pressing as well, but can't remember
which mixes were on that.

Gang Starr's first album "No More Mr. Nice Guy" on Wild Pitch has a track
called "Jazz Music" which predates "Jazz Thing". If you haven't heard this
album, you must - listen to what these guys were doing in 1989!
