while going thru my girlfriend's stuff to make sure she doesn't cheat on me
(just kiddin'!), I found an article about Acid-jazz in the new Bazaar, you
know, one of those womens' magazine. Well, much to my surprise, it was
actually a pretty good article, with opinions from people like Guru and
Coleman... realistic facts too about how the labels handle (handled?) the
whole thing. Oh, and one line about Christie Turlington or whatever the name
of the Q-tee is contributing to the acid-jazz scene in california, how much
truth is there to it? can I be her bedroom dj? :P

ps: got my first compilation in a LONG time (somehow I have something
against compilations), and that's the Oceans Eleven compilation. Michael at
Bad Mood recommended it, and I'm glad. Good new mix of the ever popular
Marden Hill's "Up In Smoke", plus the a-side track of the last Beamish & Fly
EP and a couple of other stuff worth checking out.
