well, i have to report that i went to That's How It Is about 3 weeks ago,
and heard gilles peterson playing the instrumental hip hop type stuff +
house + jungle, and the rest of the night lined up much the same, although
i dunno who the other djs were. even played some detroit style tracks, old
and nu skool rap - but no jazz at all, except a couple of weird things
right at the very beginning.

and glasgow's only regular jazz club (been running for a few years now i
reckon) has just closed down.

so what's happening to jazz ?
