hello, hello,
my name is lizzy, this is my first time on the Net and
i am blown away. I didn't actually think that there would be
RAD info on acid jazz, trip hop etc... I am from Sydney ,
Australia, where the acid jazz scene is picking up in a big way ,
as i'm sure you have heard.Vibes on a summers day in
january was brilliant! DJ KRUSH played a brilliant set ,and
as i had never heard him before ,i was again blown away.
My interest in acid jazz has been going for about 3 years
beginning when i first heard bands like Brand New Heavies,
Ronny Jordan, and compilation albums on ACID JAZZ and
TALKIN LOUD. Finally, Jamiroquai came to visit us, i had
been psyched for months about rumours but when he came
i couldn't believe it. I loved his gig and can't wait for new
releases. This is why i write to you. My interests
include Krush,(well anything Japanese...Kyoto jazz massive etc...)
Mother Earth, UFO,( I am finding it really hard to think of anything
,now that i have to!!!!!)Anyway , to cut a long story ,could you
please send me any RAD info on new ,happening ,funky ,
dubby ,trip hop, groovy, tight, together musicians and groups,
and any info on international dates etc.. coming to Sydney,
Australia.
TA, very muchly.
Your info would be very gratefully recieved, and passed
around with friends. Thanks
LIZZY
