this is probably too late to be of any help--raphael is the only
member of u.f.o. who will be in the states this week, and any
"performances" will be strictly dj'ing. raphael leans towards
latin, brazillian, and jungle, but you can expect just about
anything.
an updated opinion on multidirection 2: it's better than i thought
after the first listen. there's a great flow from track to track,
making it a good _album_, more than just a collection of good tracks.
the dj milo track, the hip hop track, is also better than i first
thought, and the rapper "knowledge" has got a dope style.
the audio active track that confused me last week makes a little more
sense now--there's no production help from on-u, making it the
first time we've heard audio active on their own. is this the "real"
audio active? sounds good. overall a better package than multidirection 1,
in my (revised) opinion.
matsuura's got another project almost done, it'll be a collection album,
matsuura diggin' in the crates paying no heed to musical categories.
pretty much like listening to him spin in a club--rock, funk, jazz, hip hop,
whatever. it's gunna be called "internet" for some reason, heh.
