KKSF InterNotes Thursday, June 15, 1995
Highlights:
Friday, June 16, is "Casual Day." Office workers all over the Bay
Area will be wearing casual duds, along with "Casual Day/KKSF"
buttons, to benefit United Cerebral Palsy. There's also a CASUAL
DAY STREET PARTY from 11am - 3pm on Commercial Street in San
Francisco (near 505 Montgomery St. Bldg./between Sacramento & Clay)
KKSF's Hoyt Smith will host, music from Lloyd Gregory, casual
fashion show, more. You can purchase a Casual Day button for a
minimum $5 donation.
The last time we saw comedian Rick Reynolds, his one-man show "Only
the Truth is Funny", found humor in dark episodes of his youth.
The success of that long-running show established him as a major
new talent. Rick Reynolds is back with the rest of the story, -
exploring the funny dark sides of marriage, parenting and being an
adult. The new show, "All Grown Up - And No Place To Go" opens at
the Stage Door Theatre in San Francisco on June 20th.
The John Barry "Dances With Wolves" song we play, previously
available only on a CD single, is now available retail. It's
apparently on a Sony release called the "Dances With Wolves
Collector's Edition." Sony/Epic ZK66817... which also contains a
couple of other previously unreleased trax, along with special
artwork, etc.
