Yup, the album is Sun Goddess. It's super cheesy jazzfunk, takes a bit of
getting used to and likely to cause you to go flush with embarrassment if
you're playing it for musically intolerant friends who say things like, "this
sounds like a bad TV theme" when you play Corduroy. It's way out on the
goofy meter, but dammit, I like it. I've heard better by him, however.

ps-Anybody heard a killer jazz-funk cover of the Doors' Light My Fire? I
heard a (female) vocal and instrumental version the other night, and both
kicked the pants off the original. I'll try to get details - the tunes
were off super rare collections of late 60s early 70s jazzfunk, you know
the type.
