Saw them in '93 here in Dublin and they were crap. They never even
played Profound Gas, (still like that tune). They did alot of preachin'
- as though they had some sort of message and not enough groovin'.
Really s-l-o-w gig with no vibe. Loadsa folk left before the end.
The only good part was the lighting - old skool psychedelic - oil
lamp-blob- type-stuff, a hell of a lot trippier than the band, but that
wouldn't be difficult!

The Sandals are about as boring live as The Emperors New Clothes. They
(ENC) played here last New Years Eve and just never got going. You
know the way at midnight on that night of all nights you want to go
through the roof or at least have a good time well these guys stopped
playing a few minutes before the hour, did their countdown, 5 - 4 - 3 -
2 - 1 - ........ (from 37 I think) and then continued playing their
really slow dubby stuff - in fact the very same tune they had just
being playing. Really dissapointing start to 1995!

Yup, saw them a couple of years back. They were TERRIBLE- really slack-
just seemed like an excuse to get up on stage and get pissed/have a
laugh. And to think I paid to get in...
