Yes "Frederick Lies still " is on Totally wired (VOL one) acid jazz records
As for the other band......at the moment I have borrowed "the Trip Hop Test,
part one" on moonshine records...it features:

tales form the woodshed....
it a abit more ambient than I would have thought(that's not a bad thing)
but there are some tracks that have a funky line in them.....
the Paul weller Wildwood (Portishead remix) is very very Portishead
over all I like it but in a quirky, I am listening to ambient today kind of
way!
