HELL yeah! I love Curtis and I don't think his music is beyond the scope of
this list. All of his albums (practically) from the '70s are brilliant:
Curtis, Roots, There's No Place..., Live!, etc. Pick up all of those reissues
on Charly by all means.

About Curtis Mayfield: His soundtrack to Suprerfly is great, also find the
extended version of "move on up" which should be on a cd somewhere. This may
be a little beyond the scope of this list, but the stuff Curtis Mayfield did
with the Impressions is also worth giving a listen.
