Overrated Project of 1995
-------------------------
- That Tricky album... loved the singles leading up to it, but I found the album
to be a disconnected mess. Maybe next time.
RUNNER UP: Mo Wax's A&M deal... the only change seems to be better packaging
and a lot more (mundane) acts added to the roster. They should concentrate on
the few amazing acts they have (Attica Blues, Palmskin, Sam Sever, Shadow,
Krush, etc) instead of going out on numerous 'excursions'.
Underrated Project of 1995
--------------------------
- Digable Planets 'Blowout Comb'... I feel this is the best rap album since
Public Enemy's best output, but it seems already forgotten. Check it again...
the musical arrangements alone are otherworldly. Can't wait for the next
experiment.
PEACE it
