That's not surprising - Incognito gets played here on those so-called
"yuppie jazz" stations too. (though over here we call it "pogi jazz"). I
initially thought of them as "just another lite jazz band" in the vein of
Hiroshima and company, so I was surprised that they turned up on this in the
A-J category. But yes, I do like them, and if they can only get played on
such radio stations, I say that's better than no airplay at all. Question:
is there such a thing as a station with an all-AJ format?
Another question, more Incognito related: someone played me this tune by
them that has this vocal harmony line "na-na-na-na, na-na-na-hey" over and
over again. It was suggested that my band cover this, and we did like it. I
didn't get the song title though, which is a big help in finding a copy of
the album. If the clue is sufficient, any tips on the album title and the
song title is very much appreciated.
