I just found out that Don Cherry died recently in Spain. I did not see
this reported in papers; maybe that's because I'm in a city that doesn't
really seem to appreciate jazz, but I found it surprising that a pioneer
such as Cherry could die and not have the news cover it.
In more positive news, Blue Note released another set of Conisseur Series
discs. Artists include Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley, Grant Green, and others.
