I have both and will agree with Sampsa, the remix 12" kicks ass (more so
than the original IMHO) and yes, the main reason is the Richie Hawtin mix.
It starts pretty simple and minimal, letting you mix it in for a good couple
of minutes, and then the percussions kick in, crazy... more than a year
after his mix of La Funk Mob on the LFM double-10", the plus-8 man does it
again, even smoother and more down-tempo (around 92bpm). Maybe they should
start the Minus-8 division of Plus-8 records huh? experimental hip-hop
windsor/detroit-style.
