Might this be _The Ticket_? I have two issues: one with Des'ree on the
cover and one with Galliano. Decent enough, but no match for On the One.
(My fave is The Wire, though.)
As for the other current topic, I've been on this list for about 6 months,
I guess. I've been turned onto some seriously cool shit thanks to the folks
here. As a result, I find I'm buying a little heavier on the jazzy/funky
side than the idm/ambient. But the two are really overlapping more and
more.
As for where ya'll get some of your music, I have no idea let alone way of
getting at some of the shit ya'll talk about. I try to stay current and
participate, but it's starting to get too deep for my pockets, however
excellent the tunes.
ObAJ: I have listened to Outside's The Rough and the Smooth every night for
the past week. As slick and varied as UFO, but bigger, heavier, realer. I
can't back that statement up, it's just my impression.
My turn to ask for what to check out where... And I pick Italy -- Florence
(Oct 14-17) & Rome (Oct 17-20) to be exact. Any suggestions for night life
would be appreciated.
