The record you're wondering about is Greybreaks Volume 1 by DJ Greyboy.
It's basically a (nice!) jazz-inflected breakbeat album which came out a
couple of years back. As I understand, it was his first jazz/hip hop
record. (I have his very first single which is unlike anything he does
now - it was house/almost techno.)

That's Andy (Greyboy) at the mixing board on the cover. I have to look it
up to be sure, but I think the album is primarily sampled constructs - no
instrumental solos, etc. Ubiquity did a little distribution of it at the
time it came out, but it is definitely a Greyboy Records record. And I
believe it's only available on 12" vinyl if it's available at all anymore.

Hope this helps. Peace!
