I think this is a very good point. I overstated a few opinions on rap
and sound found myself defending the position that rap is dead right here
and right now, which is a position I don't hold and didn't really even
mean to propagate. this list may be a tad oversensitive.
the other problem is it's an enormous list. other lists I've been on
have much smaller core communities, and it's not so odd on those lists to
respond to every post. here, doing so means you dominate a list shared
by a lot of other people.
I think we should address the first issue by just chilling out, and the
second by putting a warning in the FAQ, with a title like "READ BEFORE
POSTING!!"
