I was at the show at Madrid (Spain) on July 12, and the thing was:
Guru's Jazzmatazz
featuring Ronny Jordan
Special guests:
DC Lee, Bernard Purdle, Reuben Wilson, Kenny Garrett, dj Ski, Big Shug &=
Baybe.
The price was 2800 pesetas, about 22$.
Perhaps Ronny Jordan did only the european tour (he lives in London,
right?). Perhaps.
The show here was nice, but maybe a little cold at times (most people speak
english here, but I dont think the main public in Madrid got the
"they=B4re-puttin'-those-drugs-and-guns-in-the-street-so-we-kill- ourselves"
part or other messages in the lyrics [I=B4m not trying to be=
disrespectful]),
but we had a really good time.
As for what Fly Rye <ryeone@uclink3.berkeley.edu> tells of the Oakland
show, we had the same structure here. They came out three or four times to
play encores, and after the show Big Shug, Ronny Jordan and , I think,
Baybe, were hanging out,
dancing and talking to everyone that asked them. Also, before the show, Guru
was signing autographs and possing for photos with the people.

you're not alone in the list, I also like both Jazzmatazz albums... Now I
find there are more educated opinions than mine!!! Yeah, sure. I will
segregate myself from the list and create my own... ;-)
Thank you for reading my opinions.
