How 'bout another Sampler CD title?

Just a little variation on the A-List idea would be "A Line", which to me
says, among other things, an undefined territory/boundary, being online,
references the A Train, and even ties into the IDM list's comp, _Threadz_
(anyone know whatever happened to that?), and I could even read into it the
operative theory behind the art of sampling/groove building --
appropriating that two-bar line and taking it to the next extreme -- as
well as being a homonym (if I remeber my grammar correctly) for "align."
OK, I've thought enough for today.
ObAJ: A friend of mine brings in an original 1975 Blue Note release,
_Pressure Sensitive_ by Ronnie Laws: he points to "Always There". At first
it doesn't register. I bring it home and I'm like, Oh man, am I ignorant!
All along I'd loved the Incognito version and they totally left out that
great atmospheric break! A little mainstream sounding overall, but
definitely one for the books.
Connect the dots, ya'll!
Peace, pete.
