peace all,
I'm pretty new to the list and am enjoying the cyberfunk y'all share.
We've had a short string of shows here in Minneapolis, which often gets
left out of the normal tours that get most other cities: this past WED was
TRICKY, FRI was MACEO PARKER and MON is GURU with VANESSA DAOU and locals
PHULL SURCLE with CASINO ROYALE. It's a reat week for us!

PS w/CR are two bands , rappers and an AJ trio who are surprisingly hot.
I'm really expecting them to hit if they stick it out. Phull are a trio of
rappers out of St Paul who have an unusual rhythmic sense together. They
played a set in a bar right in front where Spearhead had played an outdoor
show earlier so the crowd was hyped for more AJ rhymes. Phull and Casino
have only been doing showes since Jan. and they're kicking it pretty good
already. Watch out for them.
