It's true to say there are many people who can play bass better,
technically, than
Me'shell. But it's missing the point. It's not just that she's a good bass
player, or
that she writes killer basslines - it's the whole package - the tunes, the
lyrics, her
vocal style, the production, everything. The woman has got it going on,
there's no
doubting it.
