I can vouch for the regular Blue Point. I've had mine for about 6 months
and compares favorably to the two other similarly priced cartridges that
I've had in the past. (Ortofon X3-MC - also very nice; and Shure V15 Type
V-MR - not nearly as good). The Sumiko or Ortofon are more than adequate
to demonstrate the superiority of analogue...enough said.

I don't know a thing about DJ equipment, but if you want to spend less
money for a very good home set up, I've been hearing for years that one of
Grado's cartridges is supposed to be THE absolute best deal in low-end
audiophile gear. I don't know the model #, but the price is around $40.

I'll be interested to hear if anyone has any personal feedback about Grado.
