I agree great stuff. I think DJ Smash is also associated with NYC's Giant
Step.

I am a big fan of anything by Jazz Not Jazz. It's all sampled drum loops &
tidbits off of records along with some live playing thrown it. No real
vocals,
though. Jazz Not Jazz tracks are done by a guy called DJ Smash. Most of is

stuff is on New Breed Records, but some of his earlier stuff is on Eightball

Records. Check it out if you can.
