James Lavelle, the founder of MoWax has alway critisised the term trip-hop
(wich was first stated in MixMag 1994 - yes that late...). Lavelle alway
prefered to call his stuff for abstract jazz with a beat.....

The first releases from MoWax is definatley A-Jazz. Check out excellent
compilations JapHipJazz(not all instrumental though), Royalties Overdue (not
all intsrumental either), and Headz (instrumental and the most trippy one.
Still a lot of jazz in it...)
