Here are a few news from France:
- on the Big Cheese tip, or more precisely on the Plug It!
Records tip, the LP of Schkoonk "Sur les paves" is out, with as a
first single "La source de mon bonheur". I have track listings on
their pages, stay tuned for some sound excerpts coming soon. Adresses
are:

and
http://cermics.enpc.fr/~dh/fromage/bonh.html
- on the Yellow tip, another single is out from the 357 LP, it
is distributed by Small (a division of Sony), and perhaps Small will
reissue the LP if the EP does well, with packaging things like the
poster of their very nice cover and t shirts. Things to come are
* an album by Dimitri, "Sacrebleu", beginning of may
* a 6 tracks EP by Mighty Bop, with a female singer called Louise
Vertigo, end of may
You can find all these informations on my yellow productions page:

(as well as the reference for the Reminiscence Quartet LP, somebody
was looking for it these days)
For those of you who read french, there is also a la Funk Mob
interview at
http://www.starnet.unisoft.fr/fmr/funkmob.html
If you really insist, I can try to translate it; not extremely
interesting, though.
- Since yesterday, the volume 2 of the "What's Up / Mix It /
La Nouvelle Vibe" compilation (you know, the one with a footprint on
the cover) is out, featured artists are: Stephane Malka, Buzz Bomb, Dr
Love + Nature, La Cellule, Flash & Gordon, Ozman, Dimitri from Paris,
Fred Galliano, Fresh Lab, Vanguard, Roudoudou and Pedro. It's on CD
and double LP.
See you,
Daniel
