Since cyber-space has brought us all together, I would like to try an
experiment. Of course I am looking for writers for the release of ROaR and I
thank everyone for the overwhelming response. However I would like to
conduct a test with a purpose. Ready:
I am looking for reviews of new releases which I will publish in a regional
publication here in Western New York and Southern Ontario to test the
response. Heres how it goes.
1) The releases must be very new....fresh as possible.
2) The review must be of material that is avaliable and can be purchased,
please no demo's or future efforts.
3) It can be a shamless plug for a record on your label, your friends
release or a piece you did. The skys the limit.
4) I need the following information....
- Artist
- Title
- Label/Sub label
- Format (CD,12")
- Style (eg. Trip Hop, Elvis reborn, Spaced Ambient)
-Then the Body about 100 words or so, if it is great go on but not over 200
-An address, eg. Internet web site, email, fax #, address, orderline...so
people can contact the label or artist about the release and order it.
- Your name, as reviewer
- And a rating out of 5...can be halfs (3.5)
I am looking for all formats of music...
This regional publication has a circulation of 35,000 with a 2 to 3 pass
along rate. So your efforts will not be in vain.
I will gladly forward you a copy of your review in the publication if it is
printed at no charge in thanks and strongly consider you for the reviewer
team for ROaR...
I need reviews by the 22nd. of April.
