This is a great collection of stuff - a pretty good range of styles
and most of it is top notch. Admittedly it takes a couple of listenings
to really get into some of the tracks but I ascribe that to depth rather
than lack of quality. There is a lot going on in these tracks - I would
certainly agree that this isn't dancey jungle in the pop sense. But
"experimental" implies it isn't mature - I think that the sound LTJ Bukem
produces represents "progress". The sleeve notes are a little painful in their
idolatry of the producer/djs but I think they're onto something here!

On another note I saw a MixMag presents compilation by LTJ Bukem - anybody
know anything about it?
