Are you referring to "Jazz brat" (Verve/Forecast)? It's one of my
favourites this year. I found my copy at Mr. Bongos. Maybe it was an
import?
It is a little bit light-weight for my taste but Krush's beats and the
bossa inspired stuff is just great!
The remix album "Adoption Agency" has been available since March I
think. Well, I havn't been able to get a copy yet! Mr. Bongo's
(again) claims to have it in store from time to time, but never when I
ask...
According to an earlier post on the list it features remixes by DJ
Krush, U.F.O., Airto Moreira, The Angel, Ray Hayden, Dred Scott,
Ohsawa/Mondo Grosso & one by Monday. (KTCR-1370, Y2800)
PRN:
I find "The future sound of jazz vol. II" (Compost 017) to be
well worth the money.
