Thanks for pointing that out. I couldn't figure out why the bass was distorting
on many new 12's and why in the they slipped. (This seems to have started only a
few months ago).

Speaking of sound quality, I make a mistake in picking up the white-label (or
bootleg?) version of the Dana Bryant LP -- everything sounds muffled. Is the
regular release clearer? Otherwise, I'd recommend the LP. Her updated version
of Camille Yarborough's style works well most of the time. The only
disappointment for me was that the version of Dominican hGirdles is a live
version without music
