I would find any list incomplete that doesn't include the Rebirth of
Cool Series or the first few Totally Wired releases. Everything else

OK, so this is my Top 12 Absolutely Essential Compilation Series
introduction to what acid jazz is (official releases, CD's and LP's, in no
particular order):

1. Acid Jazz 1-3 (BGP)
2. Blue Brak Beats 1-2 (Capitol/EMI)
3. The Freedom Jazz Dance Series 1-3 (pho/Muse)
4. Jazz Dance Classics 1-4 (Luv n' Haight)
5. London Jazz Classics 1-3 (Soul Jazz)
6. New Jazz Spectrum 1-3 (BGP)
7. The Soul of Jazz 1-5 (Verve)
8. Talkin' Jazz 1-2 (Talkin' Loud)
9. Dancefloor Jazz 1-5 (Mojo)
10. Dance Juice 1-3 (BGP)
11. Capitol Rare 1-2 (Capitol/EMI)
12. Glucklich 1-2 (Compost)

Plus of course other assorted one off releases from labels like Soul
Jazz/Universal Sound, Right Tempo, Ubiquity/Luv n' Haight, Big Cheese, BGP,
Verve and Blue Note/Capitol/EMI.

So what do you think, did I miss anything?

Peace,
