yep, distribution is definitely the key.
As we are label & distributor, we kind of have an idea about it.
Which distributor you choose, depends on the genre of your
releases. The distributor will offer your releases to hundreds of
shops worldwide, and if it's a good one, will send your release-
sheet out and (at least) give some money for advertising.
This will help establishing your name. And once your label
is known to those who purchase bigger amounts (the exporters,
chains, whatever), the next release will sell much easier.
I think, London is a pretty good place to find such a distributor.
