On the One NY/SF Parties, Subscriptions

On the One magazine will be throwing a party at the Transmission Theatre
in San Francisco this Saturday, the 21st. The lineup includes Richard
Dorfmeister, Jason Bentley of Quango Records, Thomas A.K.A. the Mammal,
Felix the Dog, and Paul Craven. Party starts at 10pm and goes til 4am.
The Transmission Theater is located at 315 Eleventh St. @ Folsom St.
Admission is $7 but if you are on the list and RSVP to me by e-mail or
phone before the 19th, I'll put you on the list at a discount. I'll need
responses by the 19th as I'll be leaving New York City for California the
21st.

On the One will also be throwing a party in New York City at Giant Step
this Thursday, the 19th. The night's entertainment includes a set by
Universal Records artist, Erykah Badu, and fresh grooves courtesy of DJ
Jazzy Nice. Please come join us at New Music Cafe at 380 Canal Street @
West Broadway from 11pm - 4am. I'll be giving out lots of CD's and
posters (and Jamiroquai posters to new subscribers). Call me or e-mail

On the One is goin' global... our editor Andrew Jervis is currently in
London and may be throwing a party there with our very own Caspar
Melville. Also stay tuned for details on our event coming up in New
Orleans.
