I was at the record store the other day and heard a track over the speakers
that I'd like help with identification-wise. The track, stripped down, was
just beats and organ. Since my friend who I was with and I are very old school
collectors, we guessed the organ to sound kind of like Doors stuff (my guess)
or Arthur Brown stuff (my friend's). Nonetheless, it had a sort of cheap sort
of sound.
I asked the clerks but they said that another worker (who was on his break and
apparently has control of what's played in-store) put it on and they couldn't
check. On a hunch, I thought it was DJ Shadow so I bought the
"Endtroducing..." album but turned out to be wrong.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
