a big waste of the "government money" (like it needs our help to get

ObAJ: (thought I was gonna forget it huh?)
got an excellent EP from Michael at BadMood: Mr Scruff "Frolic EP". A side
has two not-so-good pseudo-old-skool-hip-hop-with-sampled-scratches, but
B-side has a long long track that is a pleasure to mix with. Highlite of the
track is that flute sound, very groovy. It's around 113bpm and will get a
crowd moving easy (Steve: yup, waht clubs call acid-jazz I guess :)
Mr Scruff had another EP sometimes in late94-early95, don't remember the
name but it had a couple of good tracks, especially "Sea Mammal", an
electronic dub with tripped out samples.
