May I also recommend a record called Drum Suite by The Art Blakey Percussion
Ensemble. It's a reissue on CBS of a session from 1957 and it has wagonloads
of afro-cuban jazz rhythms.

In fact, check anything with Art Blakey and especially the title track on
Night in Tunisia, which gets the heart pumping like very little else.
