SXSW-Austin. Who are these bands?

This year for the South by Southwest music conference here
in austin, one of the showcases has these groups:

Fambooey (Bloomington, IN)
Swift Haywire (Houston, TX)
Pancho Kryztal & Hitman (Chicago, IL)
Broun Fellinis (San Fran, CA)
Medeski, Martin & Wood (NY, NY)

I'm very excited about seeing MM&W and Broun Fellinis. But who are
these other groups? Do they have the same type of music? (ie should
I show up early to catch them?

Also, does anyone know anything about these groups, who are playing
in other clubs for the conference?

Pugs (Tokyo Japan)
Lolita No. 18 (Tokyo Japan)
Rinneradio (Helsinki Finland)
Killawajachi (Peru)
P.P.F. (Bratislava Slovak Republic)
Moondog Jr (Antwerp Belgium)
Taxi Chain (Toronto Canada)

or if any of you know any of the other groups that will be here
that may be of interest, please tell me, so I can better choose
which ones to go see. There are at least 250-300 bands here
for the March14-17 week and while most of them are crap, there
are always a few gems in there. (like MMw and B Fellinis!)
