I just picked up the record with Q-Burn's Abstract Message and Pimp Daddy
Nash both of which are fantastic up-tempo (but not jungle) funky jazz
grooves. I know the guy from Q-Burn is on here, so I'm sending respects
out. Also, the local guys from the 18th St. Lounge have just released a
12" of the Thievery Coporation which is dubby trippy ala Cup of
Tea Records. In my rebellion against jungle fever I've been taking those
jungle records and slowing them down. I want my slow bpms! I remember
someone else talking about this some time ago, is anyone else doing this?
