You forgot that the same article mentioned New York's Medeski, Martin & Wood,
who can outfunk both the Fellinis and Brooklyn Funk Essentials. Not that I
don't love the aforementioned, but you MUST check out MMW if you haven't
already. They have two albums on Gramavision/Rykodisc and one on Accurate.
