yes, it's the jackanory mix of Stories by Izit - I thought this tune was
wicked untill I heard the original by the Chakachas (of Jungle Fever fame)
- yet another example of ripping off old tunes and not giving credit.

I go off on this rant every few months on this list, so for those of you
who've heard it all before - sorry, but i'm fast beginning to believe that
there is nothing original about any acid jazz (dread tag)

Izit ripped off Chakachas, Corduroy and the Acid Jazz Alliance did Johnny
Pate, Galliano since their first 12" (Frederic Lies Still - which was the
Pucho tune and nothing more) have never written an original song - why they
aren't being sued by Hammer, Jackie Mitoo, Hal Singer, Archie Shepp, Bill
Conti, etc etc I just don't know

It's kind of like Simply Red - if you rip off something obscure enough
no-one'll know and you'll get all the credit - it just bugs me that people
never get to hear the original stuff

-having said that the Izit remixes are pretty good (on the 12" with the
blue sleeve)
