I have absolutely *no* musical knowledge, but own a sampler and a synth and
manage to churn out some stuff that sounds quite acceptable to me (and my
friends if they smoke enough first). So, what am I?? I don't consider myself
a musician 'cause I don't know music, and I can't read or play music, but
with the help of my gear - and a sequencer that allows me to record stuff
step by step and in my own time, I end up with a musical piece.

There must be many people creating music in this way - do they call
themselves musicians, programmers, or what?

Marc.
