Picked up the Danny Saber 12" that I mentioned last week.

Danny Saber 'Indian Summer' (Botton Heavy BH 85502-1)

Sounds very like Paul Weller's 'Kosmos (Lynch Mob Bonus Beats)',
well actually sounds exactly like it with a few sitars stuck in
the background. Good stuff though hardly original. Backed with a
more uptempo funk track (Lift Off) based around the same sample as
3rd Bass' 'Portrait of an Artist as a Hood (Remix)' / K Solo's
'Real Solo Please Stand Up'.

This is another excellent compilation with exclusive tracks from
Kruder & Dormeister, Howie B., Illuminati of Hedfunk (Coldcut) and
Fila Brazilia and a jungle collaboration between Luke Vibert and
the bloke behind u-ziq called Smooth Helmet which is really good.
All in all a nice variety of trip hop, trance, techno, house and
everything in between.
Vinyl buyers beware however - the CD version has 3 more tracks than
the vinyl even though it is a quintuple album. (WHY ????)

Finally another Fat City recommendation :

Rae & Christian 'Northern Sulphuric Soul' (Grand Central GC109)

A percussive Philly/Jazz/Brazilian uptempo carnival track with lots
of horns, drum fills, whistles and female vocal samples. A good
summery track for the dancefloor. Backed by 'Baseball Fury' a slow
hip hop track with occasional ragga vocals and lots of scratching.
One of Grand Central's best to date.

Colin.
