I second this. with an added note... I saw Negitivland (seminal
electro-noise band from northern california who pioneered sampling and have
been around since 1980) play live in 1994 and they totally rocked out. I
was *very* impressed with their stage show and stage presence. So if four
geeks from Contra Costa county can rock out that proves it *can* be done.
