I don't know - by simply appearing live, they obviously think they have
something that people would want to see. So, if you don't have anything
worth seeing, why bother putting on a show? Why not stick to what you do
well. Why risk your fans getting pissed off at you?
I don't like being disappointed with live shows. When Money Mark played in
our city 6 months ago, he lost at least one album sale (me), by being a very
lacklustre live act.
That said, if Portishead, Marden Hill, or 9 Lazy 9 ever came to town I
wouldn't give a damn what their live show was like. I'd *be* there.
